On Decemebr 16th Apple announced that this would be the last year that Apple will exhibit at Macworld, even more shocking was the added statement that Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, would deliver the opening keynote and not Steve Jobs. Of course roumors flew, Apple is on the brink, Steve Jobs is dying, and on and on…

Well today there were two press releases, the first from Steve Jobs himself, which basically boilled down to “No, I am not dying, I am sick and receiving treatment and I am just not up to the Keynote at Macworld this year. Oh and I don’t want to talk about it anymore” The second was from the Apple Board, which threw its support behind Steve.

This seems to put an end to the on-going soap opera of Steve’s health and the roumor’s of his and Apples Death.
