XM Canada introduces the XMp3: Record What You Love, Listen When You Want

XM Canada, the country’s leading satellite radio company, today unveiled the XMp3 – a portable satellite radio and MP3 player in one. Manufactured by Pioneer, this chic and sleek portable unit provides access to all of XM Canada’s 130 channels, including commercial-free music, sports, news, talk, comedy, entertainment and much more.

• A micro-SD card slot that allows listeners to store MP3 files and manage them with the XM2go® Music Manager software, letting users easily organize their saved XM content and personal MP3 music collection
• A DVR-like feature that automatically saves the last 30 minutes of live XM programming so listeners can easily replay what they just heard
• The first portable satellite radio Program Guide that displays broadcasts on each channel two weeks in advance
• XM Highlights feature which spotlights XM programming, hand-picked by XM deejays

The portable satellite radio Programming Guide also provides XM subscribers even more ways to discover and record their favourite XM music and programs by allowing them to scroll through the Program Guide or use the XM Highlights feature to view upcoming broadcasts, select a program to learn more, schedule a recording or choose to be alerted about future broadcasts.
